Acrylic Paint Pouring Workshops

Make beautiful, one-of-a-kind art using the popular acrylic paint pouring method. This mesmerizing fluid art process is enchanting to try and surprises with amazing results. We will start by prepping our canvases and mixing up different paint recipes. Learn the flip cup, dirty pour and swipe methods and then make your own 16"x20" fluid art painting. You'll leave this class with the confidence to make your own acrylic pours at home!

Saturday, May 4th from 12:00-1:30 pm or Sunday, May 5th from 3:00-4:30 pm

All ages welcome. Ages 10 and under will need an adult to accompany and assist.

$40/Participant 

Registration includes instruction, canvas, paints and supplies for one painting. Additional paintings may be made for $15 each.

Paintings will need remain at the studio to dry for a minimum of one week. If you would like your paint pours to be sealed with varnish, your work will need to remain at the studio for 6-8 weeks to allow all layers to be fully dry before being sealed. You may choose which option you would like at the time of the workshop.

Clay and Art Summer Camps

School is out, camp is in! Come create alongside professional artists in an authentic art studio in Peoria’s historic warehouse district. During each camp students will enjoy learning skills of wheel throwing and hand building with clay from Master Potter Jacob Grant as well as explore different mediums through projects provided by Art with Kyla.

July 8-12: Clay and Process Art
